Disappoint. Enjoyed Civ Rev as a bit of a different take on Civ on the Xbox and was looking forward to playing on my Android tablet... oh well.

Talisman: Digital Edition review

Terrible reviewer should stop reviewing board games on tablets now because he clearly has no clue what he's on about. You can still play it like the boardgame while getting drunk, just digitally without mucking about with the rules, they're done for you.

Surprised it lasted this long. The business model was outdated in 2005, today it's prehistoric.

Microsoft kills game ownership and expects us to smile

There's some fair (and massively downvoted) comments that MS is certainly not the only one taking liberties with consumer rights here.

This kind of thing is against EU law. Consumers own media products the same way they own everything else, and they can sell it on to whoever they like, no matter how publishers might try and wrap it up in fancy EULAs. Agreeing a EULA does not override your basic rights and Microsoft, Steam, iTunes others need to realise this and enable resale of the products that they offer. Regulators also need to ensure they actually enforce the regulations of course, otherwise companies are going to continue to ride roughshod over people's rights.
