Being micromanaged by a US company is a chore, being micromanaged by a tediously shortsighted Japanese company...I wouldn't.

I hope the staff got some of that, otherwise they'll be jumping ship and the purchase will be worthless. It's not just IP they're buying, it's inhouse talent.

The multiplayer on the XBL demo was a right laugh. Shame. I guess it would be impatient to get it for that with Ace Combat 6 on the horizon.

Edit: beaten, twice.

I hope this works on DS, I'd love to see multiple turn based 40k games. They can milk this as much as they want. Tyrannids next, please.

Project Sylpheed demo on Live

Use the torpedo beam weapon - grey head, something like that. Charge it to full, line up a hardpoint, then launch. Switch to the 120mm cannon or rockets and strafe the hardpoints as you fly by. Once you've got a fair bit of distance, repeat. Take down the destroyers before the 2 large cruisers.

I'm the opposite, this demo has knocked me for 6, I can't wait for the full game.

As far as I know it is related to the megadrive game, same dev team/members of dev team, name is slightly different as the previous publisher retained the rights.

Full retail release, garnered favourable reviews on import.

Been waiting for this...

And on that note, it looks like the first space-based RTS that might be as good as Homeworld 2.

The 4th and 5th screens melted my eyes.

Gundam joins PS3 launch line-up

I found this official mini-site, it's changed it's name.

It looks great, but no joy translating, the text is part of the image rather than seperate, so no release date.
Amazon.co.uk seem to have it available to pre-order for the 30th of march.

Again, looks great.

Anyone know what happened to the 360 Gundam game? It seemed to play more like Battlefield, and supported an in-cockpit view. It seems to have vanished.

For the record, I'm not convinced about the relative pricing being outlandish bearing in mind the youth of HDDVD and BR.

However, if you think the BR player included in the PS3 is any good, you're a plank.

PS2, you can use it as a DVD player! Aye, a shit one.
PS3, you can use it as a BR player......
XBOX360, you can get a cheap HDDVD addon.....

In no way does Metroid pwn Castlevania, Mr Fox.

Wasn't Symphony supposed to be in the process of being ported to XBLA?

No chance.

I've seen people play both whilst on the tube. I've also seen people still playing GameBoy SP. I guess it depends on the length of journey, heading back out east from central London I see it most days, when my face isn't crushed against the glass or into someone's armpit.

Most London dwellers too cool? Please. What part of the North are you from?
