Revenue is interesting but no mention of profit. It's a partial headline, could either be excellent news for the publisher or a holy-shit we've just broken even, or worse.

The best launch titles ever: Tetris on Game Boy
Thank you from bringing back a healthy dose of nostalgia. I remember rummaging around in the wardrobes upstairs looking for Xmas presents, only to be presented with the Gameboy with Tetris as launch title. I was over the moon. My other stand out gaming pressie memory was me and my brother getting an import Megadrive with Crackdown and Thunderforce IV. Oh, the joys of getting a cartridge which just worked!

A Nintendo Labo: Variety Kit is now just £20
Picked up the labo robot kit for about 15 euro from German Amazon, and me and son (7) have spent an enjoyable few nights building it together. First thoughts are that it's cleverly put together with jolly instructions via the switch. Aim to get it finished for the weekend, and let's see how much play we get out of it. He's well into his jigsaws so the joy may be in the build!

The hidden echoes of Resident Evil 7's remixed house
Fascinating article, thanks Gareth, and I look forward to more on the theme of architecture. I particularly like the comment about the "unsettlingly plain graphics." I had exactly the same feeling looking at the screenshot with the lighting and balustrading.

EA hasn't given up on Titanfall 2 yet. Here's what's still coming
Perfect game for me to have quick blasts, connection always reliable and there seem to still be a reasonable number of players to guarantee some attrition and bounty hunt.

Watch: Ian introduces Chris to the ZX Spectrum
Great timing as I today took delivery of a pristine +2 from my brother for my 40th birthday. The first pressie opened was an single parcel containing Match Day 2, then a boxed +2 with loads of games, and even a lightgun. Brought so many memories back. I remember breaking the play button on the DATACORDER and placing it back on to watch my brother burst into tears thinking he'd broken it.

Call of Duty: Ghosts the "biggest overhaul" of multiplayer since MW1
The first para at this moment in time makes no sense. I have been on the M6 for 4.5 hours, gimme a break EG! (Put the exec producers name in the 1st para)

Microsoft kills game ownership and expects us to smile
Oh well. I've got a Vita and 360 at the moment...seriously thinking of getting a PS3 to go with my PS plus sub for the next few months. I know this contributes nowt to the debate but I think this may be what more and more people are considering (if you've got a 360 and vita that is).

Firstly, first. I've heard Conan is ok for the money. Any more recommendations? Quite like look of Sega Tennis. Good pricing by MS, hopefully more to come.

Wii Fit
From a diet pretty much of COD4 and FIFA 08 on 260 (both wowzer games) I am currently hammering my Wii- Mario Kart, Galaxy and yes, Wii Fit. Why? They're fun. I could toss myself off into a frenzy about "what a waste of money", "it's shit", etc, but what the hell. I have a lot of disposable income, so there.

I was debating between the S and the X; in the end I went for the S as I got lucky with stock in November.
One of the main reasons for me to get a next gen console was from a convenience perspective- the SSD in particular makes a world of difference to how I play games now, with the very little time I have with 3 young kids. My eyes are not the 20/20 they once were but the 1080p FPS boosted visuals on my 120hz 4k tv are perfect for me.
