Controversially I really liked the ending. I wish they had done more to show the fate of the other races and crew members but as an ending to the story I enjoyed it.

Regardless of my worries about the 'Britz r evilz!' marketing I am still probably going to buy this because the unholy lovechild of Red Dead Redemption and the earlier Assassin's Creed games sounds awesome any day of the week.

Assassin's Creed 3 "most ambitious" Ubisoft game ever

@SaintDaveUK I hope you're right but the Creative Assembly is a British Studio and the end of the Empire: Total War campaign was a whitewash. In the end I will probably buy it anyway because jumping out of a tree to smash someone in the head with an axe shaped like the Assassin's seal is awesome any day of the week.

@Kami Just because his father was English does not mean he will be pro English. Native Americans fought on both sides of the Revolutionary War, as anyone with a basic grasp of history will know. The information we have received so far points to a pro-American game, however there is no reason to think this will happen for sure other than an attempt to appeal to American fans.

Assassin's Creed 3 set in American Revolution - report

paddyE

I wonder if they are going to take more of a Red Dead Redemption route with the game world, riding around on horseback as the main mode of transport rather than climbing buildings. I can't say I love the idea of a Revolutionary war ACIII purely because the few other games that have touched on the subject have been vastly over simplified. The worst culprit was the Empire: Total War independence campaign where the narrator proudly claimed 'from sea to shining sea the sun only shone on free men'. I always found myself quietly adding 'except for the slaves'.
