Zelda: Twilight Princess tested under official Tegra X1 emulation

Dead Cells review - one of the slickest dungeon-crawlers you'll ever play
|
late to the party with this comment but it needs to be read: In Souls or a game that has PATH progression, you lose your XP progression when you die but you respawn at the bonfire/checkpoint you crawled and fought your way to. So you have progressed deeper into the virtual land/game zones and don't restart all the way from the very first spawn point where you enter the game. The first time you get to a bonfire in Anor Londo, you feel like you've traversed half the universe and it truly gives you the feeling you're extremely deep in no man's land, and you have earned the notch to re-spawn there. In Dead Cells, you literally start from the same place EVERY SINGLE TIME, for every play-through. Although you can get shortcuts later on to take you through a different path to the endgame, it's not the same as the deep level path progression the Souls games have. This is much more of a "throw the game on and blast through it for 15 minutes or an hour" and don't give it too much thought. It's an exercise in reflexes and quick thinking, a rogue-like with a much shallower feel than the Souls series or Metroid for that matter. Left me feeling somewhat hollow ;) |

Games with easy trophies help indie studios "get the funding" needed for future projects
|
"Got the platinum in 20 minutes so can't really complain at Ł1.29," said another. Part of the problem I'd say. Anyway, I feel like this article is partly exposing this crap cash grab by "developers" while at the same time promoting it. Lose lose all the way around. |

| @spamdangled you don't get it do you. I saw an opening for a clever comment. I'm going to sign up for Xbox Game Pass at some point to play the Play Anywhere titles on my PC, and at some point will pick up an Xbone for the hundreds of free games I've accumulated through xbox live. I just thought it was funny. You seem very young and a bit too passionate about your cause. I can play all the games you mentioned on my PC btw. And I've played most of those games (in some iteration) to death. I imported MGS for PS1 when the Japanese version was released and did the manual swap trick to play it on my US playstation. |

| @Scottoest I read a comment along the line of "I'll try this with Xbox Games Pass" and I thought lol, there's a witty/clever statement in there somewhere. It was ironic in a way. Like I'll try it on Xbox Game Pass to see if I'll pass on buying the game or not. You can check my post history, my current consoles are Xbox 360 and Wii U. My PC is current gen. I typically don't pass up on trolling if there's an opportunity to be clever, regardless of the subject matter. I genuinely didn't mean to offend here, just saw a double meaning somewhere. |
