UK government gets tough on video game age ratings

Some parents use the age rating as a guide to the challenge of the game, similar to that on a board game, parents need to educate themselves, if their kids want a game they need to read about it, find out about it, play it and understand it, it's that simple. I've had to convince a few parents that there are games out there for their kids, but just because it says 3+ doesn't mean it wont prove a challenge to their 9 year old child. |

MS "investigating" Xbox Live refund customer service complaints

I've had no problem with how MS have dealt with my refund, aside from the bank charges that resulted from the fraudulent access pushing me overdrawn, but that's down to my bank now. What i dont like is how my profile was stolen and used with no real explanation from either MS or EA. I'm pretty sure this could be tracked down considering the processes that have been involved. |

Had this happen to me at the weekend but managed to wrestle my accounts back under my control, while i was contacting MS, some prick has managed to lumber me with a paypal bill that has now broken my bank account and put me in the red so it's going to cost me more than the basic bit of casht hats been robbed off me. scum, utter scum. and all for a poxy trading card game. EA account has now been disabled at my request and I'm not going anywhere near another EA game. |
