Sounds good, hopefully they can keep up adding lairs and group missions on a regular basis. They still need CoX style grouping though. A low level hollows or Perez style map with massive +5 mobs should do the trick. And scaling mission instances would be a boon too, dont know why they left that out tbh. |

@MikeN I dont think the WoW RPG did all that great. Surprisingly, the people who wanted to play WoW just played WoW and the RPGers just played their normal systems. I also heard that it wasn't very well balanced, so that may have been why it wasn't accepted. |

I do agree with your other point Grayvern, they should just use an existing system. The only way this rpg will take of is if the game does well and those players fancy roleplaying in that setting. I just cant see GMs and players wanting to run it when there are so many good rpgs out already or coming out around the same time. Just a setting book for OGL would have sufficed. I don't know about everyone else, but my brain can only store so many systems, and i'm not gonna try learn another one unless all my players want to play it (not likely) or it offers something mega original and that sounds like fun. |

I wouldn't mind so much, but these computer game nerds STOLE our bloody name. A role playing game to most people now is final fantasy and WoW, not Call of Cthulhu,GURPS, etc. newsflash people, your playing an avatar, usually with very little choice or direction of the story.
