@Stepharneo I had the same problem with X8. I believe there is a firmware update available from Crucial that may fix this issue. I ended up sending mine back (gotta love Amazon returns) instead of risking the firmware flash. Got a Samsung T7 and never looked back. I'll have a Google and see if I can find the update again |

| The CX8 has issues with waking from rest mode on PS5. An issue that is worth Googling, as there appears to be a fix for it (firmware flash IIRC). I couldn't be bothered with that so returned mine. Basically constant warnings of not disconnecting it properly. Bought the T7 Samsung and not an issue since |

@Clarkey I have an external SSD for the PS5, the Samsung T7 and Division 2 loads pretty quick off of it. I am happy with it. @UltimateKGB Yeah I've tested rest mode loads now with the T7 and not a blip. So I am 100% convinced it was an issue with the X8. The T7 has added benefits too in the longer cable and a better form factor for tucking under the front fin of the PS5 :) |

@mcwildcard No it hasn't fixed that. I tested three times. Rest mode x 2 then immediate start up no issues The third time I left it in rest mode for 5-10 mins and then on restart I got the external drive was not correctly disconnected message followed by the DB rebuild |

Spot on review. One of the best I've read on EG for a while. It kind of sums up how I feel about the game, which is that it is more than the sum of its parts. Yeah the in game narrative makes little sense and I'm not a fan of the Patrol missions but I'm loving it, perhaps because I have always loved FPS games. As for the mongs moaning about the score, whether EG scored it 6/7/8/9 out of 10 I could careless to be honest. I just know that once I'm home from work I can't wait to play it. So I best get to it. |

The 360 was originally an ace machine but gradually MS ruined it, to the point where it now takes an age just to boot up. This coupled with Microsoft's vision for the One completely turned me off. Like many I have switched to Sony and I can't see myself ever regretting that decision. |

Picked up a pair of these from 365 games for £81 inc next day del. I was a tad disappointed they don't support 7.1 on pc (I should have done more investigation) but very happy. With them in Infamous with the profile uploaded from the app. One small niggle is that the colour on top of the headband scratches off very easily. |

It's so shiny.......:confused: This is so very tempting but like some others have posted, I simply cannot justify it at the moment due to backlogs on 360 and PC and what with available game time seemingly dwindling as each day passes. :( Maybe if I bypass the steam Christmas sales I might just get through my backlogs and be able to justify a PS4 in time for Deep Down or The Division. |
