I'm primarily a PC gamer. I have a good mix of games that I am fond of, including Half Life 2, Rome Total War (and very soon the sequel when I get my hands on it), the original Call of Duty, Dawn of War, Company of Heroes, Psychonauts and most LucasArts adventure game titles (before they went shit, really).
For consoles, I have always been extremely fond of the Final Fantasy series (I liked 9 the best), Kingdom Hearts, Devil May Cry, and *gasp* the Smackdown series of wrestling games.
When I buy a game, I mostly look for story and gameplay. To me, not enough games have good dialogue, with RPGS often being far too po-faced and serious and FPSs being...well, just rubbish on the talking front.
