Yep, this is one of those games that could easily have ended up disappearing up its own (or it's clone's) arse, but thankfully the bedrock of gameplay and puzzling is top notch and the heavy subject matter is dealt with with a subtlety and lightness that works wonderfully. Get stuck in! |

I dunno, I'm on the parents' side in this one I reckon. For a start, there's this line : "In the US, Apple is now required by law to offer refunds in such cases involving children, following the lawsuit by another angry parent there." ...which makes sense to me. I mean, if you buy, say, a CD and then decide you don't want it your rights allow a refund, so why not something like this which is in error? |

@ToAks @arcam Fair enough. Although considering that 3d is two different interwoven images that are 'sorted' by either coinciding with the left or right shutter on the glasses being open, there's no technical reason why any 3D TV can't support it. I am prepared to be proven wrong on this, by the way :) |

If you're doing something that may give offense, you should be able to give a good reason why you're doing it. Case in point is Tim Minchin's Pope song - highly offensive but with a watertight reason for existing. If Gearbox can provide a decent argument for including a bottom slap, then it's fine. Caveat : I've not seen footage of, or played this bottom slapping thing, but if the argument for it is decent enough that shouldn't matter. |

| Just to clarify, this isn't motion capture so much as surface capture - so the process is seemingly capturing, for every character, for every line of dialogue, for every frame of animation a complete face texture map and mesh object which are then streamed in game. I'm actually surprised this is on Xbox 360 as well, purely due to disk space issues. I'm guessing the texture streaming is doing some clever jpeg style compression and difference key-framing from one frame of face texture to the next. |

| Isn't this already known about? Sony announced "Heroes On The Move" at E3 - featuring Ratchet, Clank, Jak, Daxter, Sly Raccoon and, er, another one. I'd guess this is that. |
| @LHH : Interestingly enough the soundtrack to The Thing wasn't by Carpenter, but Ennio Morricone. He wrote loads of different music for the film, but Carpenter basically just took small bits of what he did and used them. The small bits he took basically being stuff that sounded like Carpenter's music anyway... :) |
