That's bullshit. When I tried Vanguard I didn't need days or weeks to cast my judgment upon it. 4-5 hours was more than enough. Then again, I'm not a journalist or game reviewer. It's a shit game btw. Exactly, were all entitled to our opinions, however a game reviewer is expected to put the nessacery time into a game to see what its all about...were not expected to...we buy the games, were not reviewing them. And that is the issue here. It may be a shit game, but for a game reviewer to only put 2 hrs into the game really hurts this sites credibility since its thier job to put time into it whether it sucks or not. What other games were played for 15min, or 2 hrs?? If the reviewer played it enough to know even the most basic details [which sounds like he didnt] I doubt there would be 800+ posts about this games review here. |

Of course, having to stump up a large sum of cash having been forced to wait for week because they can't sell their product properly (imo, of course) may 'encourage' the customer to 'overlook' those first wasted couple of hours/days/weeks of boredom, frustration and anger, otherwise they might feel like they've been ripped off...
im the same way, if it sucks i dont play it. Its just for a game site, they have to bite the bullet and sink time into it. its expected.its thier job. so my 20hr comment for a mmo was directed to reviewers of them. obviously, this game was a case of 'it sucks' after a 2 hr session by the reviewer. good for him, bad for those who want a thorough and bloody honest review from a video game website.
Anyways, I feel like im repeating myself at this point [made 2 other similar posts already], so gl and hope to see the next review hit up on some other issues that should have been there...such as game performance for one. What type of pc is reccomended, how crash prone is the game etc.
