Mad how everyone completely misses the point on why 2nd hand games in stores often cost the same or more than new. You’re meant to trade a load of stuff in. You’re not actually supposed to walk into Cex and pay £50 for a 2nd hand new release. You’re meant to trade in 2 or 3 games or 1 decent game and pay £20 ontop etc. Baffled how so many on here don’t realise this!?

@TheVoice You’re on Eurogamer. There’s people lurking about on here who would pay an extra £100 to download it a few hours early and so they don’t need to lean forward 3 feet and go through the brief hassle of inserting a disc into a playstation.

@TheVoice How fast do you need to play it? It’s a game which you’re going to need to play for 2000 hours a year anyway. What difference does a couple of hours next friday make?

@feistycheese No. Nobody can tell you because nobody here works for Ubisoft and nobody even owns the pissing game yet.

@vacuumpacked You’re joking right? Hard to tell on these nerd paradises. It sounds a lot like a joke but at the same time it’s written so deadpan.

Eurogamer and Neogaf Nerd logic: “I don’t want to waste 2 hours downloading a patch. 2 hours of my precious time!? Preorder cancelled. Not buying it, mate.”

6 months later: “Yeah i ended up getting the Ultimate Edition mate. Only cost £205 plus another 40 for the annual pass which you do t even need in this one, but lol, bought it anyway. Already played it 3000 hours. Still annoyed i lost that 2 hours downloading the patch though. Bloody disgrace.”

@LawnmowerDuck exactly. Won’t stop all the nerds on here complaining though! Most of whom will have 600 gig of space left on their PS4 Pros and fork out £150 a month for some stonking 200 gig a second internet plan anyway!

@IamUrple The point of buying the disc is because it’s about £20 cheaper at release. £20 is £20 at the end of the day. For the exact same game and gaming experience.

Who cares? Simply get better internet & a long ethernet cable if this sort of thing is an issue.
