| @madame-drofla we had a TI99 as a family computer which was on the main TV then I had speccy on B&W portable in my bedroom. Then colour portable, through C64 days and beginning of Amiga. Then colour monitor for Amiga 1200 while megadrive and SNES shared the portable. By this point I had left home. I am old. Heady days. |

Flying by memory
| Took the family to the London Eye on Tuesday. Got home, fired up MSFS and the London flight experience (had downloaded previously as prep). Whizzed about London and all the places we'd seen, then flew off down the M4, all the way to our house. |

| I play most games in front of my 11 & 12 year old gamer kids, and I let them play most of those games themselves. However, Cyberpunk's dildo count makes it a definite no. We discuss most things as a family but, quite frankly, that's a conversation I'm not prepared to have yet! |

@Peterakers I've always loved boxing games too. I had 4D Boxing on the Amiga. There was another one later down the line on a console, too, but I can't recall it. I think it was Japanese and the view was kind of top down isometric. Cartoonish graphics but not a cartoonish storyline. Hmm. EDIT: I found it. It was called Victorious Boxers: Ippo's Road to Glory. |

EDIT: I forced the game to quit, reloaded, reset controls to default again and repogrammed them again. All working now! FWIW I do have this on PC but you can't beat comfy gaming rocker and 55" TV in the lounge. @Bosh This may be true on PC but it definitely is not on Xbox. I have gone Settings - Control Settings - External Camera. I've scrutinised it and there is no box to tick. I have chosen up instead of down to look down, it then gives a panic inducing warning that there is already a control for that. Force that to agree. Then I go to the other control to reverse that and it accepts it. It looks perfect on the settings screen now but it won't let me look down. I even reset to default controls as I've given up. Still can't look down. No way am I doing a reinstall! |

I've broken it already. Inverted Y axis for external camera (which isn't just flicking a simple switch) and ended up not being able to point the camera down. So now I've reset setting to what they were but I still cannot point the camera down. Also I could do without the "STALLING! STALLING! STALLING!" shouting when I'm trying to swing around again and buzz my house, even on the simplest settings. |

| @StooMonster I had it on PC Gamepass and did exactly this. Though good luck pin pointing anything on your map. It is honestly, and tragically, the worst map in any game. It is all one colour with very literally no detail whatsoever except dots where airports are. |

| I sincerely hope the map is better in the console version. On PC it's a nightmare. If you want to fly over your house, you pretty much have to guess where it is based on nearby airports (if you have airports nearby). |

@jabberwocky It's the closest thing we've ever had to the excellent Sega Rally, only with haptic trigger feedback too. I'm fine that it's not in there but I would deffo have it in and hoik Inertial Drift out. ID is really not a good game, for me. |
