Truly epic game... single handedly sold me both a GBA & the SP, purely for the backlight so I could play it it anywhere. The only other games that came close (And didn't catch it) were Golden Sun and Fire Emblem.

My only minor annoyance was with Dual Strike; although I think it's the best in the series the medals I could never get were the low ranked ones; B and C... as a result I have 294/300 medals! It just takes too long to get a low rank. :( But I have over 400 hours on the clock on that game, and probably a similar amount on the first game too. Really wish I'd finished off my Advance Wars Dual Strike guide...

Gearbox clams on Halo 4 chatter

Gearbox has form here, having worked with Bungie and Microsoft to bring the original Halo onto PC. And Bungie, which split from Microsoft in 2007, has revealed that Halo 3: ODST and next year's Halo: Reach will be its final contributions to the universe.

OK, in PS2, no. You can only target whole groups, and your characters will randomly attack 1 monster in that group, unless they have a "burst" weapon, like the Shotgun. (Which is why I recommended you get one for Rudo ASAP)

In PS3 they changed it so you can attack any individual. Some weapons also attacked a whole row of enemies (There are 2 rows) and some attacked groups. It was still simple, but more complex than PS2.

PS4 is like PS2, except you can target anything individually.

The best system would have been PS3 with the macros and skill/techs from PS4.

Altered Beast isn't worthy of 3/10. Much too high.

Gunstar, seriously, it's a 9 or 10. Truely awesome. And EVERYONE dreads getting the sodding "Curry and Rice" fight in the Dice Palace! End boss is hard as nails if you don't have "homing" or co-op.

Whoever said Phantasy Star II was "easy achivement points" is off their ROCKER. Seriously mental. 75gp of the 200gp available are unlocked by the final series of boss fights, and this game has, by some considerable distance IMO, the toughest final boss fights of any RPG. First you get an arduous slog through a tough dungeon, then back to back boss fights with Dark Force and Motherbrain, and the best spell in the game to help you actually blasts your party too. Rock hard. And that's if you can even GET to the end. The dungeons are insanly big and complex, and the amount of grinding needed in the game is unreal. Probably a 60 to 80 hour monster of a session this game. I'm a big Phantasy Star fan, but I'd be hard pushed to give it anything higher than a 6/10. Wait for Phantasy Star 4; now THAT'S a great RPG.

Domovoi: No you don't. If you walk into a shop and buy something for £100, then you pay £100, doesn't matter if you pay be card, cash, or cheque. The company will lose a percentage of that cost if you pay by card, but either way, you pay £100. You as a customer don't take the specific hit for that fee, the company that you're buying from does.

No Elites for Halo 3: ODST

miiguel: It's got nothing to do with the timeline. ODST (or Recon. Christ Recon was better than bloody ODST too) takes place just hours after Regret jumps from New Mombassa. At this point in the timeline the Elites are still loyal to the Prophets/Covenant, and the civil war hasn't happened, and the brutes haven't taken over as the honour guard.

There should have been Elites in this... massivly missed chance there. I'd say at least 90% of Halo fans prefer fighting the (non-English) speaking Elites than the Brutes.

WonderBoy in Monsterland is possibly the best platformer on the SMS. It was awesome. It was also pretty tough as some of the jumps were difficult to execute. However it was extremely satisfying to get to the end in fll Legendary gear.

The MD version that was a cross between Monsterland and Dragons Trap is also awesome. And on Wiiware IIRC.
