@Tufo As a big Tetris fan and a vr owner I bought the game for the VR experience which is excellent... Once or twice. Once you've plated through the journey bit once in VR you'll likely never bother with VR again, it's a hell of a journey but it's easier to play out of VR. I have it on PC and Quest 2 and I never play it on Quest. All that being said if you're a 'serious' Tetris player tetr.io is still the best for my money, and it's free! |

| @Miyamotosan I'm primarily a pc gamer (and switch) and saw the last generation of consoles as underpowered tat (owned both xbox one and ps4 and gave them to my nephew) but the latest gen I feel is going the right way, 60fps gaming so I've bought all the good PlayStation exclusives that have been upgraded or are playable at 60fps on PS5 and now I'm just waiting for the actual console to be available. Getting stuff like God of war for £8 is well worth the wait. |

Unlike console players, PC players have to buy Hitman 2 again to unlock its levels in Hitman 3
| It wouldn't be so farcical if they hadn't waited until four days before launch to reveal this little nugget at the very bottom of a massive set of launch instructions, given us no indication of how much it'll cost, and if it wasn't for the fact Hitman 3 is essentially all three games anyway, the first two are just locked behind a paywall if you didn't own them before, they're still on your harddrive. What you are essentially paying for is to use their website to transfer your save game from Steam to Epic, and for that they can go fuck themselves. |

| The omnishambles continues. Doesn't need me to say it, but what a colossal fuck up,and one born of pure financial greed. They knew what they had and what state it was in and they deliberately hid it from reviewers and the public. They deserve the financial hit this is going to give them. I do have sympathy for the devs who must have surely pointed out that they were churning out an utter turkey. Money talks. The people at the top who allowed this to happen need to be looking for new jobs. |

| @super-eve I'm not sure how much more low effort you get than reading Reddit and Kotaku and then posting those stories on this sites hours later, which is what Eurogamer has been doing for quite some time. I've been coming here daily for years but I read less and less of the articles these days. There is still some good, well written perspectives but they are becoming more and more sparse. As someone else rightfully pointed out in another comment half the reviews these days are the ramblings of some talking about their own psyche with very little substance regarding the actual game. If I want to be mildly entertained for five minutes I'll read a Eurogamer review, if I want to actually find out about the mechanics, faults or intricacies of a game I'll go elsewhere. |

| Given the slow decline (imo) of the writing on the site over the years (the recent Empire Of Sin review is a perfect example of a lazy, half baked review) and the general low effort, low quality of the video content (Digital Foundry and Ians VR corner being an exception) I personally would not want to pay to see extra content. If that extra content was of a higher standard than what you are currently churning out then I would suggest you have a problem, if it isn't then you have a real problem. |

Cyberpunk 2077 review - intoxicating potential, half undermined, half met
| @Naetharu I can categorically state that they have not delivered on what they promised. Google their road map statement from 2012, most of that stuff is not in the game, just purely on npcs they talked about how they'd be 'groundbreaking' with full cycles. The npcs in the game are a joke. They are like something from GTA 3.You throw a grenade on a motorway and every single npc gets out of their car at the same time and ducks, holding their heads. I could go on and on and on about just how bad this game really is, the enemies that just run straight at you, or suddenly get bored and go into a passive mode in the middle of a fight. Don't even get me started on the dialogue choices that are all variations on the same yes or no, there's no real choice. The whole game is pointing towards a couple of endings and from what I've read all three classes converge into the same story after a couple of hours. As I say I could keep going on (the police spawning immediately behind you when you commit a crime, even if you're on a roof) etc etc. It's a piece of shit game and they should be ashamed they churned it out. |

Cyberpunk 2077 PC tech analysis: a closer look at the ultra high-end experience
| My laptop has a 2070 super Max Q and it's running on Ultra settings including RTX at 60-75fps using ultra performance DLSS at 1080p. The trouble is Ultra performance isnt designed for 1080p so it looks like the game is running at 720p, I turned shadow mapping down to medium from Ultra and I now get 60fps pretty solidly on performance mode which looks a hell of a lot better, theres occasional drops down to 57fps but I have Gsync so it's not a massive issue. |
