Ghost Recon Wildlands feels remarkably tame

Beta had two glaring flaws for me, respawning checkpoints as in Far Cry 2 - you'll never fight them more than once, so they just become annoying. And second, absolutely useless AI. One mission type had you blow the doors off of a building, then get to a terminal before the timer runs out, and the AI companions just wait near the door, they dont respond properly to calls to regroup or attack. There's no R6-style stack up or breach/clear commands, just lemmings following you and shooting occasionally. |

They weren't for 'migrant control' they were defensive walls, that worked quite well too. And yes, walls have worked in the past, to say they never have is beyond silly. The Berlin Wall lasted until the USSR collapsed, so it pretty much did it's job as long as it was wanted. It's all a bit rich for island nations to criticise others to build artificial borders when they sit pretty on natural ones. |
