@Spence1115 might just be me, but the kink vids are actually better than what the mainstream pumps out. Its just the same uninspired drivel but now in vr.

I see the apeal and its great before the novelty wears off, but the adult industry really needs to get better than whats currently the norm (that said, there's one or 2 great 360 degree movies out there, but the good ones are really rare).

@berelain thanks. Thats what I was thinking when reading the article. There's enough drama in gaming land already without actively creating it.

The Division is scrappy, but utterly engrossing

Drendari

@arcam I love both but i seems to be a game that really splits opinions down the middle so ymmv... I can't get enough of it tho, even after playing both beta's. Its very akin to Destiny with not as great shooting (still good tho!) but better story/world/atmosphere building. But, again, as you can see from the various comments ymmv a lot...

Watch: The Division's loot is cool and boring all at once

Drendari

@Nephirion Yes, I mentioned the setting. Tho I am convinced its still doable, just not as batshit insane as D3 obviously.

I don't really mind the enemies, tho I can see why you would. For me headshotting everything in seconds would get old, I think. This, however, clearly something thats entirely up to personal opinion...

Drendari

While its too early, and the beta too limited, to really form an opinion, I share your fear. Gear that does interesting things is very important to the end game (Hi Diablo!). While it'll probably never be over the top, I do hope that legendary gear does more than decrease threat by % or similar drap things. Its clearly hindered by the realistic setting, however, so I'm not holding my breath...

What does Diablo 3's new patch offer for the end-game player?

Drendari

While the patches (with extra content) are more than *awesome*, I am really hoping for a proper expansion in line with the first which had a new class and an entire new act (which was also The Best Act(tm))

RimWorld: Can you make your game up as you go along?

Drendari

Amazing game and well worth the price of admission. While the systems aren't quite as complex and deep as DF, the interface isn't either so its a win on that point. It also rivals (maybe surpasses) PA in complexity and is nowhere near finished, even if already highly playable.

I'm late to Mad Max, but I like the balloons

Drendari

I like the towers when they're actual puzzles (I say towers but I mean them in whatever form they come), sadly design around these keeps getting lazier and its now more and more "locations on the map you have to visit". Gimme more of the (light) puzzles again and instead fade out all the garbage collecting (find x of y by visitin these marked points on the map). They're just busywork to artificially inflate playtime by having you meaninglessly run/fly around without much fun, just to keep your CDO in check.

Total War: Warhammer developer "disheartened" by pre-order DLC reaction

Drendari

The biggest issue, I think, isn't so much the pre-order DLC but the significance of it. The controversy would've been no more than usual with this crap if it was a minor race, but Chaos?! Well deserved lashback, I'd say...

Watch: Elite Dangerous Horizons - my (disastrous) first hour

Drendari

@WilhelmvonOrmstein you make the classic mistake of confusing depth and complexity with a bad interface and bad explanation of said interface.

Elite, sadly, suffers from the latter for the most while lacking in the former (that said, I haven't played for a year). I love it, but I don't delude myself over its faults.

Performance Analysis: Just Cause 3

@4th_Replicant I always think the same. JC3 plays really nice and mostly the dips are a non issue (Xbone here). That said, loading times are horrid.

Drendari

@Red_Seeds_Profile who says you can take 12 shotgun blasts to the face? Also, this game especially is not realism nor pretends to be. Thats also why there is no death penalty (except for the insane loaading times). Its all about pacing, which is (often) far more important than realism. Prefering realism is fine, obviously, this game then just won't be for you.
2 0

Drendari

@Red_Seeds_Profile wrong. Health packs have their place but not in every game. In games like this it'll turn it into a game of Find the Healthpack instead of Blow Up Everything! which kills momentum, and thus fun, fast.

Why I love Fallout 4's skeletons

Drendari

One of the best skeletons was one I found alone in a shack, an audiolog nearby had her explain that she just ran away and was hiding in her safe place but, unlike earlier, now just made her feel scared... That was so sad and touching. As bland (but addictive) a lot of the gameplay is, this world building is all kinds of awesome and the reason I keep returning and still want to play each moment of the day.
