They did the same thing with the half assed prime trilogy logo. No development, no thought, no ideas, no direction, no premise, not even a freaking color change or adjustment to represent a new game whatsoever. Pathetic logo reveal. |

@Number1Laing And you know what else? I didn’t have to wait over a year for them to say it “didn’t work out”. I knew the second I saw the logo reveal that it was bullshit. I knew there was nothing behind it. Showing that logo for Metroid Prime 4 was a slap in the face to real fans because we knew in our hearts they weren’t serious. And if you don’t know why then you’re not actually a Metroid fan. |

Do you hand on heart believe them about Metroid Prime 4? Really? You think development on the game was genuinely a thing when they showed “that” logo? There’s more evidence they’re full of it than there’s evidence of actual work done. The proof is in the pudding - where is it? Just getting started - now. They strung us along so we would pay top dollar for their hardware instead of buying it when it was almost obsolete and they actually released a Metroid game (see Metroid Samus returns). You may believe them but my cynicism is more than justified. |

@hygraed Yeah, when I heard they were going for a follow up to isolation without the original crew of devs I felt they might damage the isolation “brand”. They should have followed up with Jurassic park Isolation using the original team. Now the team is gone as far as I know so I had very low expectations for this. Seeing it’s a mobile game is actually not awful for me. I actually find it difficult to get away with gaming on the go on my 3ds or switch without drawing unwanted attention. So if this has an upfront pricing model (even if it’s like €15 or €19) rather than micro transactions, then I’ll actually get it! |
