Saints Row 4 release date announced, debut trailer revealed

I hate trailers but I had lot of fun with the SR series like the GTA of old before they took themselves too seriously. With that in mind this is one game I don't mind preordering.

Very different tune this time around.

@sneetch Good point, I've never figured out why console games have a such artificial high price they could get more sales at a lower price. Unless one's money grows on trees have must read several reviews to find out if game X is worth the money or not.

"In some cases, whole industries are effectively dragged kicking and screaming into this reality - witness Apple's relentless bullying of music companies into accepting high-quality, DRM-free distribution on the iTunes Music Store, when the music firms themselves far prefer music services with restrictive DRM and monthly subscription fees."

Right give Apple wrongfully credit..... fast rewind to 2007 http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/01/24/...
"Apple's digital rights management lock on its iPod device and iTunes software is illegal, the Consumer Ombudsman in Norway has ruled."

They had two options was A) close down iTunes for norwegian customers or B) remove DRM.

BadByte

"What king of a question is THAT? Provided that all the content works with the full retail game, they'd be insane to delete it - IT'S A SELLING-POINT IDIOTS! "

Agreed many levels just too great to be deleted, voted yes in hope those levels makes it into retail.

"Sony - shooting themselves in the foot since 2006."

Thats noting new, in 2008 they continue to aim at their feet.
''In a keynote speech at the Broadband World Forum, John McMahon, President of Sony Pictures Television asked ISPs to join their battle against piracy. McMahon further said that DRM is one of the major causes of piracy, but says Sony doesn’t have any plans to get rid of it.'' @BBIAJ: Sorry mate but the 360/ps3 versions are screwed, no updates. There was a rumor some time back about a possibility of new maps as DLC (most likely the Goldrush map).
