Prince of Persia remake coming to PSN

Complete with marvellous HD visuals.

A remake of the original Prince of Persia game is set to appear on PlayStation Network.

That's according to PlayStation.com, which confirms it'll feature new character designs, animations, controls and content. There are also three game modes, including Time Attack and Survival.

Sounds pretty much identical to Prince of Persia Classic, which was release on Xbox Live Arcade last year. The game "beautifully celebrates a genuine gaming legend", our reviewer wrote, before adding, "7/10". There's no word on a price or a release date for the PSN version yet.

In the meantime, there's always the next fully-fledged POP game to look forward to. Keep an eye out for our hands-on impressions later this week.
