Prince of Persia DLC dated, detailed

For PS3 and Xbox 360 next month.

Ubisoft plans to unleash the first batch of Prince of Persia DLC for PS3 and Xbox 360 on 26th February.

The cost is yet to be determined, a spokesperson for the publisher told Eurogamer, and there's "no news on the PC version at the moment".

The Prince of Persia Epilogue starts directly after the conclusion of the retail Prince of Persia game. Action takes place in an undiscovered Underground Palace that the Prince and Elika need to escape from.

To help with this, each of the main characters picks up a new ability. Elika gains an Energise power that can reconstruct destroyed areas, opening up routes otherwise closed and forgotten.

The Prince, on the other hand, receives a Sprinting Clash attack that lets him charge up to and stun opponents. Unfortunately, enemies will also be able to do this.

That extra challenge ties into the increased overall difficulty of the Epilogue, which has more aggressive enemies, more taxing traps and more complicated levels. This, Ubisoft hopes, adds up to around three hours of added gameplay.

There's a couple of unlockable skins, too.
