Request 50 'Double the Tails, Double the Fun' in Pokémon Legends Arceus explained

"Try to catch one and show it to her."

Double the Tails, Double the Fun is a mid-game request in Pokémon Legends Arceus.

This one is Request 50, and in it Security Corps member Netta wants to get a better look at a Pokémon that she once caught a glimpse of.

She's not sure exactly what it is, but she remembers that it had two tail fins.

Note that because this quest unlocks after a main mission, there may be some spoilers ahead. Speaking of which, if you need help with the story, our Pokémon Legends: Arceus walkthrough will come in handy.

How to complete Request 50 'Double the Tails, Double the Fun' in Pokémon Legends Arceus

You can find Netta in Jubilife Village, near the pastures. This request will become available once you have the ability to travel in the water, which is a special Pokémon interaction you can unlock in the main questline.

This will be - spoilers - when completing mission 10, The Lordless Island.

Once it appears, simply speak to Netta to hear that she wants to see a Pokémon that she once saw before, one with two tail fins.

To be honest, this could be a few different Pokémon, but for the purposes of this request she is talking about Finneon. Finneon can be found in the Cobalt Coastlands. Specifically, you will find them swimming around the waters at Seagrass Haven. They can be found and caught at any time of day or night.

Seagrass Haven is a small set of islands to the south-west of the volcano island.

You will need to swim around on Basculegion to catch a Finneon. Keep an eye out for the water moving, as they can be a little difficult to spot as they're swimming around. Luckily, though, they don't easily run away or fight you if they spot you.

If you're having difficulty throwing Pokéballs at them from Basculegion's back, remember that jumping in the air using the Y button slows down time, giving you a better chance to aim.

Once you have caught a Finneon simply return to Netta in Jubilife Village and show it to her in order to complete the quest.

Our Pokémon Legends Arceus walkthrough will help you pick a starter Pokémon and win the Kleavor boss fight. Double the Tails, Double the Fun reward explained

Netta will be pleased to see Finneon's beauty up close, and luckily Finneon doesn't seem to mind being out of the water too much.

Netta will promise to support the Survey Corps in their future work. More importantly, she will give you a Star Piece, which will go into your satchel or your storage if the satchel is full.
