Pokémon Go Valentine's Day event begins today

Will increase your Chansey of rare, baby Pokémon.

Pokémon Go will celebrate Valentine's Day with an event full of appropriately pink Pokémon.

Chansey, Clefable, Porygon and others will be easier to find in the wild, while the new baby Pokémon Cleffa, Igglybuff and Smoochum will appear more frequently from eggs.

You'll get double the amount of candy while catching, hatching and transferring Pokémon, while Lure Modules will last for a boosted six hours each.

The event begins at 7pm UK time (11am Pacific) today, 8th February, and will last until the same time on 15th February.

It's a relatively minor update, although developer Niantic often hides surprises which it lets fans find. We'll keep an eye out for any further additions, but you can keep on top of everything the update entails with our handy Valentine's Day update guide.
