Route 203 Pokémon, trainers and items

Route 203 is another short, simple route, heading east from Jubilife City. As soon as you step onto it, your rival, Barry, will challenge you to a battle!

After that, there's little else to see or do here apart from catching an Abra, if you fancy it, and collecting the two available items. So, head east and enter Oreburgh Gate when you're ready.

Oreburgh Gate Pokémon, trainers and items

Oreburgh Gate is a short cave connecting Route 203 and Oreburgh City. For now, it's a fairly simple, linear route, but when you have Rock Smash (earned by defeating the Oreburgh City Gym Leader) you can come back and explore a little more - as soon as you enter, the Hiker will give you the app for Rock Smash, so you just need to unlock the ability to actually use that app in the wild!

Head east, collect the items, and then onwards to Oreburgh City!

Your journey begins with selecting your starter Pokémon near Twinleaf Town, before visiting Sandgem Town and Jubilife City. To become a Pokémon Master, you need to defeat the Gym Leaders in Oreburgh City, Eterna City, Veilstone City, Pastoria City and Hearthome City, along with three others.

Aside from badges, you’ll want to grab Mystery Gift codes, complete the Sinnoh Pokédex by using Honey Trees, visiting the Great Marsh and the Pokémon Hideaways in the Grand Underground. Take the time to catch Gible, Spiritomb andDrifloon! Finally, you can now catch Arceus.

Orebrugh Gate revisited after Rock Smash

Once you have Rock Smash there's a bit more that you can explore, including a couple of extra items - but you'll need to come back again when you have the ability to Surf on water and a bike that can jump, to fully explore the cave!
