Route 212 South Pokémon, trainers and items

Route 212 is split into two halves, with Pokémon Mansion an optional area off the side of them, roughly where they join. If you're travelling on-foot. westwards from Pastoria City, then Route 212 South is the first part you'll encounter: a muddy, rainy, boggy area with lots of wooden beams you'll need to ride your bike along, and lots of bogs you can't ride your bike through at all.

In the southern area there's a house with a lady who'll trade you a TM for 10 shards of the same colour. The TMs are TM18 Rain Dance, TM07 Hail, TM11 Sunny Day, and TM37 Sandstorm, given in exchange for 10 Blue, Green, Red, or Yellow Shards respectively.

There is also a Honey Tree on this route, which has its own Honey Tree Pokémon spawn list.

Aside from that, this route's all about collecting items and battling lots - and lots - of trainers. Enjoy!

Route 212 North Pokémon, trainers and items

Route 212 North heads, you guessed it, north, towards Hearthome City. It's a fairly unremarkable route, aside from the entrance to Pokémon Mansion on the eastern site. The weather here is at least much nicer than down in the southern part though!

Once you've finished up on Route 212, entering Hearthome City you'll discover that Gym Leader Fantina still isn't there for you to take her on. Your only option is to continue north, to Route 210 and clear those Psyduck!

Pokémon Mansion spawns, trainers and items

Along the way up Route 212 North, on the right, you'll find Pokémon Mansion, which is a slightly unusual optional area that houses a few rare items and - after you've obtained the National Pokédex - some rare spawns for "baby" Pokémon. You can also catch a couple of other rare Pokémon there right now though, including Pikachu and Pichu!

Talk to Mr. Backlot in his office, after getting the National Pokédex, for him to tell you which rare or baby Pokémon is spawning there that day.
