PlayStation Store patch should speed navigation

Sold.

Sony has updated its new-look PlayStation Store app with a fix designed to speed up navigation times.

The 26MB patch is available now and updates the app to version 1.02.

It still takes a while to actually load the PlayStation Store app, but wait times appear shortened when browsing between pages.

Sony redesigned the PlayStation Store late last year, and after a bumpy beginning, has now been live for three months. Despite a smarter, redesigned layout, some users previously reported that the app was slower to use than its predecessor.
