Payday 2 publisher pledges more UK stock

It's a steal.

UK supplies of heist shooter Payday 2 will be replenished in the coming days, publisher 505 Games has promised.

Retail copies of the game have been hard to find since it launched in the UK last Friday.

"505 Games is aware that our retail partners are currently experiencing a product shortage for Payday 2 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3," a 505 spokesperson wrote on the company's official Facebook page last night.

"We are working hard to remedy this by shipping out more copies daily in order to ensure that store shelves are being re-stocked as quickly as possible."

It's unclear whether the shortage is the fault of too-low stock levels or simply high demand. Either way, Payday 2 is currently sat atop the all-format charts in the UK this week.
