Paul W.S. Anderson is making another Resident Evil movie

Will "definitely be 3D".

Resident Evil director Paul W.S. Anderson is working on another movie in Capcom's horror/action franchise.

Resident Evil: Retribution co-star Li Bingbing will retrun as Ada Wong.

"I'm going to go home tomorrow to start writing Resident Evil, so that's what I'm doing next," the director said at the Beijing International Film Festival, as revealed in a clip by China Central Television (CCTV).

"As you know, Bingbing is in the last movie [and] I'm happy to work with her again," he added referring to actress Li Bingbing, who's played Ada Wong in the past.

According to CCTV's full report, Anderson noted that he believes 3D technology has become the norm and that this upcoming Resident Evil film will "definitely be 3D".

The director previously helmed Resident Evil (2002), Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010), and Resident Evil: Retribution (2012). Resident Evil Apocalypse (2004) and Resident Evil: Extinction (2007) were directed by Alexander Witt and Russell Mulcahy respectively.

The last entry in the series, Resident Evil: Retribution, cost $65 million to make, and it grossed $221.8 million worldwide as of December 2012.
