Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD release date announced

3D, PS Move support update in a couple of months.

Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD launches in Europe on Wednesday 21st December, developer Just Add Water has announced.

The HD remake costs £9.99.

"I wanted to first thank you all for your patience, it's been a long wait I guess, but at the same time it's been even longer for us," JAW boss Stewart Gilray wrote on the EU PlayStation Blog.

Development on the game began in April this year, but the West Yorkshire studio has been working on the cult Xbox classic "one way or another" for around 15 months.

Gilray said the team planned to include stereoscopic 3D support, PS Move support "and a few other little things", but "due to time limits" couldn't manage it.

"However, we WILL be bringing them in an update in a couple months, along with some other little extras we've got planned," Gilray promised.
