Nintendo teases Zelda anniversary game

What could it be?

Nintendo has promised gamers it'll create "something" to honour the 25th anniversary of the Legend of Zelda series – but stopped short of saying what.

Nintendo boss Satoru Iwata teased the project – and showed a The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary image – during his keynote presentation at the Game Developers Conference yesterday.

All we know is that game developer legend Shigeru Miyamoto is working on the "something", and gamers will see what it is this year.

For now we'll have to make do with upcoming Wii game The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Yesterday Iwata unveiled a new gameplay trailer, showcasing the odd new gameplay element.
