Nintendo delays new Brain Training game days before release

"To optimise the best possible launch timing."

Nintendo has announced a delay for its new Brain Training game, just days before its expected release date.

3DS puzzler Dr Kawashima's Devilish Brain Training: Can You Stay Focused? was due to launch in Europe this Friday, 12th April.

The game has now been pushed back to an unspecified later date, Nintendo confirmed today.

"Nintendo has made the decision to push back the launch date of Dr Kawashima's Devilish Brain Training: Can You Stay Focused? for Nintendo 3DS to optimise the best possible launch timing of this title within the European market," a company spokesperson told Nintendo Life.

"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and we hope to announce a new launch date soon."

GAME has updated its product page for the game with a new September release window.

The 3DS is currently experiencing a flurry of big releases, including Luigi's Mansion 2, Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate and Fire Emblem: Awakening, with Animal Crossing: New Leaf on the horizon.
