Ni No Kuni becomes Wrath of White Witch

The Western name of Level-5/Ghibli RPG.

Delicious Level-5/Studio Ghibli collaboration Ni No Kuni now has a Western subtitle of Wrath of the White Witch.

A trademark protecting the name was passed on 29th September.

Ni No Kuni is a PS3 (and DS) RPG. The name refers to a magical world into which the hero, a 13-year-old boy called Oliver, can travel, using a magical book given to him by a fairy disguised as a doll. The game appears to take place between two realities: the real world, and the land of Ni No Kuni.

It's very pretty.

There are no European plans for Ni No Kuni, being a region-free PS3 game means it can be imported from North America when released there early next year.
