Brand new Halo 2 shots and artwork

Updated: See the boarding animation frame by frame, actual in-game screenshots, concept artwork and renders.

Halo 2. It's out on November 9th, and we understand that some of you are quite interested in it. Heck, Microsoft's J Allard reckons it will top one million pre-orders, and that people will take days off work in order to play the thing.

Understandably then, there's a lot of interest whenever we see or hear anything new about it, and this afternoon is one such occasion. As you can see by clicking here, Microsoft has been good enough to furnish us with some brand new shots and images of the Master Chief in his new digs. In addition to the artwork and animation breakdown posted on Wednesday, we also now have tens of new screenshots taken in-game, some more renders and even concept art.

There's plenty to get through, but we recommend that you all start by basking in the delight of the Chief's new boarding animation. Remember when he leapt up and unseated an enemy from his ride in the E3 trailer? Now you can see it frame by frame. To make it a bit easier, you can load each stage up in sequence - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13.

We also have shots of a silver Chief with a pair of SMGs and a shotgun, and a whole load of new vehicle model shots, including a Warthog that's looking rather worse for wear with its windscreen shot out. You can see the whole shebang in one place here.
