Atlus plans five Nintendo DS titles

Including Shin Megami Tensei and Choro-Q.

Atlus is planning to release five games for the Nintendo DS, the Japanese publisher revealed this week. Although it hasn't discussed release dates yet (which suggests that we're not looking at launch titles), it has named all five.

The games, then, are Shin Megami Tensei DS (an RPG in the popular Shin Megami Tensei series), action game Caduceus, racing games Snowboards Kids DS and Choro-Q DS (known as Gadget Racers in the States), and a board game called Jinsei-Game DS.

Earlier this week, Atlus announced a rather chunky first-quarter loss, but insisted that new titles would redress the balance. With games like Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Turner already doing well in the Japanese charts, and an online Shin Megami Tensei RPG due before the end of the year, that seems eminently possible.
