Secret Downloads Over Normandy

Planes for Live.

It's not even out in Europe yet (unless someone's cunningly broken street on it), but Xbox Live fans in the US are already getting a downloadable bonus for their copies of LucasArts/Totally Games' Secret Weapons Over Normandy in the shape of two new planes - the Curtiss P-40E Kittyhawk Mk. II (brimey) and the Vought F4U-1A Corsair. Be still my throbbing flight stick. And while Totally Games' Larry Holland and his team were at it they also touched up the Lockheed P-38 Lightning, improving its paint scheme for a better camouflage effect.

Not that most of you will be able to put that knowledge to use - Secret Weapons Over Normandy is due out on Xbox (and PS2 and PC) this Friday, November 28th. Until then, you'll just have to sit and imagine what it'll be like to plough tracers into the Kittyhawk and the Corsair in your retouched Lightning. Or something. You know, whatever.
