Sonic Team's first original character in ages is set to join us a little bit sooner than expected, as Sega has announced that Cube-exclusive Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg will be released on October 31st in Europe, and not November 7th as had been planned.
Although we were a little off-put by Hatcher's sickly sweet atmosphere when we had a look at him the other week, we were still quite taken with his platforming antics, and for those of you nursing cheapened GameCubes and not Darth's toasters, this may be the perfect thing to take your mind off lack of Jak and Ratchet.
