Galaxy Andromeda revived as Nexus

HD Interactive picks up Mithis' tab.

Galaxy Andromeda, formerly Imperium Galactica 3, has been rescued from obscurity by European publisher HD Interactive and rebranded for the second time. Having been abandoned by embattled German publisher CDV, there didn't seem much hope for Andromeda, but thanks to HD Interactive the game will have another shot at release late on next year under its new name - Nexus.

Under development at Budapest-based Mithis Games, Nexus has is "a true gamers' game" according to HD Interactive managing director Mike Klumper. "I was amazed by what I saw of the early code of Nexus. I was blown away by it and we are extremely proud to add this beautiful title to our portfolio," he said earlier this week. According to Mithis CEO Robert Sugar, "With HD Interactive's focus, Nexus is in very good hands."
