Sudeki gone gold, US retail date July 20th

Anime-style action RPG ready to roll out on Xbox.

Climax' Xbox-exclusive role-playing title Sudeki has gone gold, and will be shipping to retail in the USA on July 20th, with a European version of the Microsoft-published title due in August.

Although it was developed by British studio Climax, Sudeki is notable for its Japanese art style and direction, although the game itself is much more action oriented than the usual turn-based fare in Japanese RPGs.

Players adopt the guise of one of four heroes - an wizardress, a gunslinger, a swordsman or a huntress - each with a unique playing style. The varied gameplay of the title includes all manner of different combat forms ranging from partially turn-based battles through to first person shooter segments.

Sudeki is the first RPG title to be created by British independent developer Climax, which is probably best known for its work on the successful MotoGP series of games.
