GTR to get free expansion pack
Download new add-on soon and prove you're king of the ring. Well, oval.
Swedish developer SimBin is hard at work on an expansion pack for GTR, shortly to be available for free download.
The 'King of Ovals' expansion offers three new tracks designed in the style of American oval circuits - you'll find some screenshots here.
According to SimBin, "Oval racing in a GT car is a unique challenge, and provides the player with an interesting variation from the FIA-GT seasonal circuits." Each of the new tracks is designed to showcase a different aspect of oval racing, and AI adjustments have been made to account for the change in racing conditions.
Billed as "the most authentic racing simulation ever", GTR features more than 70 original FIA GT Championship cars and ten world-famous circuits. King of Ovals is due for release in the very near future - we'll keep you posted.
