Viewtiful Joe release date set
October. And a number. More Capcom dates too.
Capcom has updated its release schedule, giving more precise release date estimates for Viewtiful Joe and other titles. The side-scrolling superhero caper that finally caught the masses' attention at E3 is now apparently due on October 31st, up from its previous sketchy "November" target.
Meanwhile, the PS2 RPG Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter is due out earlier that month on October 10th. Slightly closer to home, Product Number 03 (P.N.03) is still scheduled for August 29th, and other interesting titles due before the end of the year include Dino Crisis 3 (Xbox), Maximo Vs. The Army of Zin (PS2) and Onimusha Tactics (GBA).
However some of Capcom's franchise titles now look set to come out next year, with Steel Battalion: Line of Contact (Xbox), Resident Evil Outbreak (PS2), Chaos Legion (PS2), Resident Evil 4 (Cube) and Killer 7 (Cube) all still sitting beyond Christmas.
