Data-Fly details revealed

Stealth, next-gen style.

Developer ORiGO has revealed new details of Data-Fly, a stealth-action game that's currently in development for unspecified next-generation consoles.

Data-Fly sees you playing as the game's titular character, a super-smart, shape-shifting lady who lives in The Future. She starts out in the middle of a desert and is tasked with locating her mysterious creator, who likes to make things difficult by moving around a lot and surrounding himself with loads of guards.

Which means Data-Fly will need to employ all manner of stealthy tricks and use all her hacking skills to take down and manipulate enemies. She can also change her physical form and camouflage herself, even pretending to be an enemy by adopting their appearance, mannerisms and voice if she so desires.

Data-Fly's primary weapon is the "body blade", and as the game progresses she'll be able to spend energy points to manipulate it into different forms. Energy points are sourced from electronic circuits and weapons dropped by the enemy.

A release date and publisher for Data-Fly have yet to be announced.
