Advent Children UMD details

More news on FFVII movie.

Square-Enix has confirmed to Eurogamer that Europe is likely to get a Limited Edition version of the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children UMD, complete with 30 minutes of bonus scenes from the original FFVII - just like our Japanese friends.

"We are still working on which versions we release but if there is this extra footage available, there is no reason why we won't bring it to the Euro version," a representative told us. The Limited Edition will also include Advent Children trailers and an FFVII compilation featurette.

However, it's not yet known whether we'll also get the Advent Children: Ultimate Edition pack, which is out in Japan on September 14 and is comprised of a copy of the movie on DVD, a Cloud and Fenrir action figure set, scenario scripts, baseball cap, t-shirt, limited edition keyring and a copy of the FFVII PSone game.

Square-Enix has yet to decide on a European release for this one, adding that "It's possible the action figures could come out as a standalone [product]."

Last month Square-Enix told us Advent Children would be out in Europe by the end of the year, but there's still no word on a definitive release date. Whet your appetite with these screenshots in the meantime.
