Giftpia dev's DS game 'all a lie'

Kenichi Nishi retracts comment on DS title.

It appears that Kenichi Nishi, game director at Giftpia developer Skip, may have been a little hasty in telling readers of his web journal that the Japanese firm plans to release a game for Nintendo DS "around this Christmas sometime".

In an amendment to his September 3rd update picked up on this week, Nishi retracts his previous comment, telling readers: "Sorry, it was all a lie." He then went on to apologise and clam up.

"I can't really talk about what I'm doing because of my legal obligation to keep secrets... I'm sorry for causing all the trouble," he wrote. We only hope he didn't get in too much trouble, and that the development of any DS games that Skip might not be making aren't impacted by this little snafu.
