MGS3 Camo Campaign winners announced

Konami picks the four camouflage submissions to include in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

As promised, Konami has announced the four winners of the Metal Gear Solid 3 "Camouflage Campaign" contest, whose attempts to hide Snake from the prying eyes of soldiers and other nefarious types will be included in the full game.

You can view the four winning entries on the official website or towards the end of our screenshot gallery. The total number of entries came in at a rather whopping 5,482!

Don't worry if you didn't win though, because MGS3 will include limited PS2 Online support allowing you to upload and download camouflage outfits as you like - so there's still a possible audience for your creation. We shall see.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is due out on PS2 in Japan this December 16th, with US and European dates still to be determined. Our money's on late November or December for the US though, and early 2005 for the European release.
