Halo 2 slips, but Xbox to be slashed to £99.99 next month

We have good news, and we have bad news.

Halo 2 has slipped to April 2004, it emerged today, but Microsoft is set to soften the blow with a price cut in the middle of October, bringing the console down to an incredible £99.99.

Official information passed Eurogamer's way reveals a whole host of initiatives from the firm, including plans to increase the take up of Xbox Live, along with a whole host of depressing slippages.
