Bioware holds writing contest

Have you got what it takes?

Bioware, the developer behind the likes of Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate and Star Wars KOTOR, have launched a new competition with a very special prize - a writer's job at their studio in Edmonton, Canada.

According to the company website, Bioware "is seeking for immediate hire writers to help development on new ground-breaking role playing games."

If you want to enter, you'll need to produce a sample of writing using the Neverwinter Nights toolset or, alternatively, provide a screenplay-format script of between 1000-2000 words. "You will be judged on the ideas you put forth as well as the quality of the dialogue," Bioware warns.

You don't have to be Canadian to enter - but you do need to have a degree. The deadline for entries is January 30th.
