Codies confirm Colin McRae Rally 04
Was there ever any doubt though? Really?
Codemasters has confirmed that Colin McRae Rally 04 is due out on PS2 and Xbox in November, and that plenty of details on the game will be unveiled simultaneously on the show floor at E3 and on this website. In the meantime, they've told us that CMR4 will have improved handling, more championships, new single and multiplayer gaming modes and improved visuals. Well colour us surprised!
In slightly more depth, we're looking at Championship, Rally and Stages modes, each with options for single or multiple players (even co-operatively - perhaps as some sort of rhythm-action pace note mini-game, or not), and the main Championship mode will be split into rally season, specialist 4-wheel drive and 2-wheel drive events, Custom Rallies and an Expert Championship for the truly die-hard racers who don't slide down every mud bank screaming at the television.
