New Witcher 3 Blood & Wine screenshots are vibrantly colourful

Careful not to Châteauneuf-du-Pape yourself with excitement.

Here's an easy story to digest: pictures. Specifically, a clutch of new screenshots for upcoming Witcher 3 expansion Blood & Wine.

In them we see hero Geralt talking to what looks like royalty, we see him in a very flowery and appealing tent, we see him among giant mushrooms, and we see him fighting a giant creepy crawly.

Blood & Wine is the biggie, a £15.99 expansion with more than 20 hours of content, and a whole new region to explore. That region is the sunny, Southern France-style area of Toussaint, which has been untouched by war. It allows CD Projekt Red to use a much brighter palette - and use it the team has!

Look out for more information about Blood & Wine soon. The expansion is due out first-half 2016 - nothing more specific yet.
