New Street Fighter III game announced

Update: confirmed as "downloadable title".

Update: Capcom has confirmed to Eurogamer that Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Online will be a "downloadable title".

Original story: Yoshinori Ono has announced Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Online for Capcom.

He name-dropped the title during a panel at Comic-Con on Saturday, according to 1UP.

There are no other official details.

Therefore, you're free to speculate. Does the "Online" part of the title mean this will be a PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade release? Or does the "Online" part mean you'll only be able to fight against others on the internet?

We'll find out one way or another.

The big Comic-Con announcement for Capcom was Street Fighter X Tekken, a game for which details spilled this morning.
