New Resident Evil: Retribution details

Anderson directing. Jill "being recast".

Paul W.S. Anderson will direct the next Resident Evil movie, according to a new report.

Anderson, who directed gargantuan hit Resident Evil: Afterlife, will direct from his own script, according to Bloody Disgusting.

The website understands that Sienna Guillory, who played Jill Valentine in the last movie, is being recast.

Resident Evil characters Barry Burton and Leon Kennedy are in, apparently. Burton is a STARS member, and Leon is a Raccoon City Police Department member turned US government agent.

Series star Milla Jovovich reprises her role as super soldier Alice.

Shooting begins in October. The release date is set for 14th September 2012. Will Resident Evil 6, rumoured to be set for a reveal this year, launch at the same time?
